Education
- Our in-house training system, a key business driver, covering peer-to-peer in-house courses as well as bought-in tuition, and covering specialised technical topics as well as soft skills.
- Works with educational establishments to raise standards, both to make sure the standard of graduates is high and to match the skills that they are being taught with the skills needed by game development (through talks, course content advice, briefs, portfolio clinics and much more).
- Presents a realistic view of careers in games to those who might not otherwise have considered them, aiming to demystify the industry and to show how complex and professional it is.
- Open Days - Since 2006 the company has opened its doors every spring to students and lecturers for a series of Open Days.
- Advice - talks to careers guidance professionals, national and regional skills councils and sits on both the Games Skills Forum & Vocational Qualifications Forum. Also works closely with Skillset and provides advice and support for Tiga.
Indie Games
- An online marketplace for uploading and selling digital games and apps
- The IndieCity main store allows indie developer to create their online presence, build their audiences and distribute their games
- Recommendation engine and filtering systems match customers to their gaming preferences
- White label version of IndieCity now powers the Official Raspberry Pi Store
